A fun full-body workout that will challenge you, no matter your fitness level or skill.

Get ready to burn calories, improve your fitness, coordination, strength and tone in this fierce, fun class. From beginners to advanced, this class is designed to cater for all fitness and skill levels, to prevent injury and ensure everyone gets the most out of their workout.

 

Outline of the course

This class offers boxing along with other non-boxing fitness exercises for a workout that will challenge you to step out of your comfort zone.

It’s a great cross training alternative, adding variety to your training at high intensity with relatively low impact on your joints.

We will go through:

  • Form
  • Technique (punching, pad holding and stance)
  • Wrapping your hands
  • The do’s and don’ts
  • Boxing combinations
  • Speed and power drills
  • Strength and endurance drills
  • Abdominal exercises

 You will also receive an information sheet to take home with all our weekly drills.

What to bring?

  • A mat
  • Towel
  • Water
  • Boxing gloves, mitts and wraps
  • Wear suitable clothing and shoes.

You don’t need to bring a boxing partner, you can pair up with another member.
