How often do I get on the scales?

Not often because there are so many factors that influence your weight. That’s why the number on the scales isn’t always a true indication of your progress.

Instead, I recommend that you go by how you feel and how your clothes fit. If you’re doing all the right things, you have nothing to worry about.

When you’re feeling sluggish, or your clothes are a little snugger, I bet you’ll be able to pinpoint why you may have gained some weight if you think about it — a hectic work schedule or eating out more frequently. The important thing is that you reset and refocus.

As a trainer, I believe in having balance and consistency. Yes, I eat rubbish and have days off from training, but overall I am consistent.
